The Posthuman Trial and Error
The Posthuman Trial and Error explores the future of our bodies, enhanced by technology and biotechnology, built in a hybrid space between human, machine, and plant life.
The project unfolds in several layers. On one hand, it investigates the future of sculpture in the age of digital manufacturing, for which a custom 3D printer was designed specifically for the project, capable of printing life-sized sculptures. On the other hand, it presents a visual essay reflecting on future bodies, envisioning diverse, post-gender bodies that hybridize with other species: plants and machines.
